Valle Crucis Lodge No. 8951 in Llangollen Donates £500 to Home-Start Wrexham
Making a difference in the lives of children and families, Valle Crucis Lodge No. 8951 in Llangollen, donated £500 to Home Start Wrexham.
Home-Start Wrexham is a local family support charity who have been operating in Wrexham for 28 years.
One of their greatest needs is for transport costs for families, particularly those living in isolated rural areas with limited public transport or limited funds to manage taking their families out. This is a huge barrier to children developing social skills and exacerbating poor mental health conditions in their parents which can impact negatively on children.
“Llangollen Freemasons’ generous donation will go towards transporting some of our most vulnerable children and their families for groups or outings which will give them experiences which they need in order to develop and thrive in childhood,” said Pam Hoyle, Scheme Manager at Home-Start Wrexham.
