North Wales Wales Freemasons Donate £10,000 To Clwyd Special Riding Centre
Clwyd Special Riding Centre (CSRC), a North Wales centre which provides state-of-the-art facilities that support riding for the disabled and equine based activities benefiting people of all ages with a wide range of disabilities, has received a £10,000 donation from North Wales Freemasons.
The donation was made in conjunction with the Masonic Charitable Foundation, which is funded by Freemasons, their families and friends, from across England and Wales. Freemasonry is one of the largest charitable givers in the country, contributing more than £51.1m to deserving causes in 2020 alone.
CSRC is run by a small team of experienced staff, managed by a board of trustees, supported by a large pool of incredible volunteers and a loyal team of RDA approved horses and ponies.
The Centre opened in 1982 is an approved Riding for the Disabled (RDA) and British Horse Society (BHS) Centre.
John Hoult, Head of North Wales Freemasons, visited the Centre to experience first-hand the wonderful facilities, including the robotic horse used for training and assessment of riders.
Jane Sargeant, Operations Director said, “I cannot tell you how thankful we are for this truly fantastic donation. The support from North Wales Freemasons is priceless. Diolch yn fawr.”
