North Wales Freemasons Fund A DASU Children And Young People Specialist Domestic Abuse Worker

A long-established North Wales charity which provides support and information to survivors of domestic abuses across Wrexham, Flintshire, Denighshire and Conway has been awarded a generous contribution to fund an additional Children and Young People Specialist Domestic Abuse Worker to cover the Flintshire area, where the charity has identified a lack of suitable services, as well as an increase in demand. The worker will be able to help meet the additional demand, with a waiting list of 55 children.

The project has caught the imagination of North Wales Freemasons who have been able to award a grant of £60,000 through the Masonic Charitable Foundation, which is funded by Freemasons, their families and friends, from across England and Wales.
