Plas Teg Lodge Host PSA Testing Event
Over 160 men were present at Caergwrle Masonic Hall for PSA Tests paid for with funds raised by Plas Teg Lodge No. 6898.
The Screening was open to all men over 40 years old, living in Hope, Caergwrle and Abermorddu.
Conducted in association with Graham Fulford Charitable Trust, simple blood tests taken by qualified phlebotomists, were sent to a specialised laboratory.
Results will follow over the next 10 days offering advice if any further action is required.
David Thomas, Chairman of North Wales Masonic Benevolent Association said, “Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. Most men with early prostate cancer do not have any symptoms. We are proud to support this vital initiative within our community.
