Stained Glass WindowRefurbished at Caergwrle

A stained glass window in the Masonic Hall at Caergwrle dating back to 1899 was very badly vandalised earlier in the year. It has recently been completely refurbished and now includes the Masonic emblem of a Square and Compass as its centrepiece.

At the regular meeting of Plas Teg Lodge No. 6898 on Wednesday 24 September the Provincial Grand Chaplain of North Wales – W.Bro. Rev Dr. Raymond Bayley, PAGChap attended the meeting and dedicated the refurbished window to the service of the Masonic Hall.

A unique feature of the window is that it has a westerly aspect and benefits from full sunshine in the early evening on certain days of the year, such was the case on the 24 September.
