Llandudno Adult Hospice Receives MCF Grant

Freemasons show their continued support awarding St David’s Hospice £2504 towards the specialised care for patients across North West Wales with advanced illnesses or those in need of end of life care.

Since 1984, the Freemasons’ Grand Charity has donated nearly £12 million towards the operating costs of hospice services across England and Wales.

Chief Executive, Trystan Pritchard said:

“We are hugely grateful to the Masonic Charitable Foundation and we thank them for the generous donation. With their help, we can continue to expand our services and together give our patients and families the best quality of life possible.”

Funded entirely through the generosity of Freemasons and their families, the Masonic Charitable Foundation is one of the largest grant-making charities in the country.

St David’s Hospice provides 24-hour care, 365 days a year through their clinical service including emotional, physical and spiritual support. The Day Care Unit provides patient care, bereavement, and counselling services, and the 14-bed Inpatient Unit offers symptom control, respite, and end of life care.

Funded entirely through the generosity of Freemasons and their families, the Masonic Charitable Foundation is one of the largest grant-making charities in the country.
