Social Event at Sir Watkins Lodge Raises £1,050

During the summer recess the WM of Sir Watkin Lodge, W.Bro. Richard Jones organised two fundraising events, a Spring Ball and a Social Evening, which between them raised a sum of £1,050.

After an initial assessment, veterans return to Llandudno for holidays, respite and nursing care, as well as fitness and mobility.

Of the total, £500 was donated to Wales Air Ambulance, £200 towards the 2017 Festival in support of the Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys, £100 toward the cost of an automatic defibrillator for use in the Mold Masonic Hall and £250 for use by the Lodge Almoner.

Both events where well supported and an enjoyable time was had by all.
