R.W. Provincial Grand Master and his Provincial Team VisitCambria Meridian Lodge No. 9876

Cambria Meridian Lodge of Installed Masters No. 9876, received a visit from the R.W. Provincial Grand Master and his Provincial Team at Elwy Hall, Rhyl on the 20th November 2015. 105 masons attended and received a presentation from W.Bro. Roderick Evans PPAGSec, St Idloes Lodge No. 1582 entitled “Hugh Warburton, Quarry Owner, Military Officer and the first Provincial Grand Master of North Wales.”

Following this, the Worshipful Master, Bro. David Thomas presented a cheque for £5000 to the R.W. Provincial Grand Master towards the 2017 Festival. The R.W. Provincial Grand Master thanked the Lodge for the amount raised, bearing in mind the Lodge was only Consecrated 3 years ago. There then followed a “fine dining” festive board for 100 people in which the raffle raised £655, also towards the 2017 Festival.

The Worshipful Master, Bro. David Thomas concluded the afternoon’s proceedings by thanking the R.W. Provincial Grand Master for both his and the Provincial Teams attendance; the guest speaker W.Bro. Roderick Evans and W.Bro. Nick Woodward, Lodge Secretary for organising the day.
