ANNUAL CONVOCATIONSATURDAY 12th OCTOBER 2019
I am directed to inform you that the ANNUAL CONVOCATION of the Provincial Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of North Wales will be held at The Arena, Venue Cymru, The Promenade, Llandudno, on SATURDAY, the 12th OCTOBER 2019, at 10:30a.m., precisely, for the transaction of the annual business of the Province.
ALL PRESENT and PAST OFFICERS OF THE PROVINCIAL GRAND CHAPTER, together with PRINCIPALS and PAST PRINCIPALS, being Subscribing Members of the CHAPTERS IN THE PROVINCE are hereby SUMMONED to attend in Full R.A. Regalia, wearing the Insignia of their Present or Past Office and Rank in the Order.
All other Royal Arch Companions who are subscribing Members of a Chapter in the Province are INVITED to attend, but they cannot speak or take part in the proceedings.
Present Provincial Grand Officers who are unable to attend are requested to notify the Provincial Grand Scribe E. as early as possible.

The Minutes of the Installation of the Grand Superintendent designate held on Saturday, 13th October 2018, and the Minutes of the Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Chapter held on Wednesday, 31st October 2018, as published on the Provincial Electronic Communications System [PECS] are put for confirmation. The Provincial Grand Treasurer's Statement of Accounts and Report for the year ended 31st March 2019, (as printed and circulated) are put for confirmation. The Provincial Grand Treasurer is elected: - E. Comp. William Anthony Latham (Clwyd Chapter No. 1674), has been nominated by E. Comp. David John Gibbison, PGStB (Gogarth Chapter No. 755) and seconded by E. Comp. Melvyn Baxter Hill, PGStB (Gogarth Chapter No. 755). To elect an Auditor to audit the Provincial Grand Treasurer's Accounts. To Obligate, Invest and Install E. Comp. Peter Michael Fitzharding Awdry, PPDepGDC, as Third Provincial Grand Principal. To appoint and invest the Provincial Grand Officers for 2019-2020. Address by the Most Excellent Grand Superintendent. To collect Alms. Provincial Grand Chapter is closed in due form. "Hen Wlad fy Nhadau" to be followed by the first verse of the National Anthem. General Admission
All Companions must present THE ATTENDANCE RECORD TICKET DULY COMPLETED IN BLOCK CAPITALS; at the Registration Centre situated in The Arena reception area immediately prior to entering Provincial Grand Chapter, otherwise admission cannot be obtained. Companions must be seated 15 minutes prior to the commencement of proceedings.
Disabled Companions and those with health issues are asked to notify the Provincial Office in advance of the meeting in order that any special requirements can be arranged. Stewards will be available to help you when entering The Arena and will direct you to your seat. Spaces are available for wheelchair users.
For those Companions with impaired hearing, an infra-red loop system is available in The Arena. The necessary compatible equipment will be available for Companions to borrow at the Registration Centre, subject to the acceptance of the applicable Terms & Conditions.
Acting Provincial Grand Chapter Officers Designate
All Acting Provincial Grand Chapter Officers Designate before taking the seat assigned to them must obtain their Acting Collar Jewel from the Companion assigned to the task, who will record and issue them. All Jewels will be available at the designated desk in The Arena reception area. You are requested that this formality is completed at least 45 minutes before the commencement of proceedings.
Clothing, Regalia and Robing
Dark clothes or Morning suit with a plain Black, Provincial, Craft or Royal Arch tie should be worn. Gloves Should NOT be worn. Royal Arch Regalia and Jewels must be worn.
Holders of Supreme Grand Chapter Rank, The Provincial Grand Sword Bearer and the Provincial Grand Standard Bearers should wear full Royal Arch Regalia and Tailcoats. All other Provincial Grand Chapter Officers, Acting and Designate, should wear full Royal Arch Regalia and short coats.
All Principals and Past Principals of the Chapters in the Province should wear full Royal Arch Regalia with the Insignia of their Present or Past Office and Rank in the Order.
Designated Robing facilities will be available for Distinguished Guests, Officers of Supreme Grand Chapter and Acting Provincial Grand Chapter Officers.
All Past and Designate Provincial Grand Chapter Officers, Excellent Companions and Companions should use the Orme Lounge for changing.
Gift Aid Envelopes
Gift Aid Envelopes are available for the Alms collection and will be provided on individual seats for use by Companions who are UK Taxpayers. Please ensure that you use block capitals when completing the declaration and that your Post Code is clearly shown.
Car Parking
Please note the Car Park at the rear of Venue Cymru together with facilities on The Promenade are Pay and Display. Llandudno is a busy town particularly on a Saturday, so Companions are advised to car share where possible.
