Pegasus Lodge Makes a Most Generous Donation of £2,017 to the 2017 Festival

Pegasus Lodge No. 9124 has received a letter from W.Bro. Philip A James, PProvSGW, Provincial Grand Charity Steward in regard to their exceptional efforts in raising, not only very generous amounts for various charities, but for raising the profile of Freemasonry as well.

The following is an excerpt from the letter received by the Lodge. “The Pegasus Lodge has a long-standing, enviable reputation for supporting many charitable causes both locally and nationally and the members are to be applauded for the way in which they adhere, in a very real and visible way, to one of the finest Grand Principles of Freemasonry.

It is efforts such as yours that raise public awareness to the fantastic work we do as Freemasons in our local communities and long may you continue to do so.

I believe there is a direct correlation between our visible profile in the community and membership recruitment. The success of the Pegasus Lodge appears to bear out that belief.”
