New Masonic Hall Dedicatedin Llanidloes

On 14th April the Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro. Ieuan Redvers Jones, accompanied by a full team of Provincial Officers, dedicated the new Masonic Hall in Llanidloes, Powys. The Brethren of St Idloes Lodge No. 1582 have worked for many years to replace their old hall and the new structure is a credit to their efforts in fundraising and building skills.

With over eighty Brethren in attendance the small lodge room was bursting at the seams, but they witnessed what is becoming a very rare ceremony of dedication carried out with a high degree of finesse by the Provincial Grand Master and his team, followed by an interesting and informative oration by the Provincial Chaplain, Rev Canon Dr. Raymond Bayley.

The Provincial Grand Master commended W.Bro. Hugh David Jones for his efforts in progressing the scheme and project managing the construction work and appointed him to the past Provincial rank of Senior Grand Deacon.

A dinner was held in the hotel adjacent to the Lodge room and the celebrations went on late into the evening. The Photograph shows the Provincial Grand Master with members of St Idloes Lodge.
