Masonic Charitable Foundation 2017 Hospice Grants

We are delighted to announce that the Charity Grants Committee has approved £450,000 for hospices across England and Wales. In total, the Masonic Community has awarded over £12million to the hospices since 1984 through the Masonic Charitable Foundation.

The Hospices in the Province of North Wales receiving grants are:

* £1,000 Hospice at Home Gwynedd and Anglesey

* £1,580 Nightingale House Hospice (Wrexham Hospice & Cancer Support Centre)

* £1,000 Severn Hospice/Hosbis Hafren – Newtown

* £1,760 St David’s Hospice Ltd

* £1,220 St Kentigern Hospice

* £1,177 Ty Gobiath

In addition, £150,000 has been awarded in partnership with Hospice UK, the national charity for hospice care. This is a pilot project to give more substantial grants to hospices. The approved grants totalling £150,000 will be announced in March 2018.
