Kenyon Lodge Around Wales Charity Run May 2017

Saturday 13th May 2017 at 8 am various classic and vintage cars together with members of the Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association assembled at Measgwyn Hall Mold Road Wrexham. for the start of the Kenyon Lodge Around Wales Charity Run.

The Idea of the Run is for some Brethren from Kenyon Lodge No. 6210 to drive a 1963 Wolseley 1500 completely around Wales to help raise money for charity. They will also be showing the Car along with its livery & Advertising at events and shows from April to November.

Councillor John Pritchard the Mayor of Wrexham, Members of the North Wales Chapter of the Widows Sons, and several classic cars all turned up to see that Wolseley off, with the vehicles joining along in convoy for the start of the run.

The aim of their ‘Tour of Wales’ is to raise funds for the Masonic Charitable Foundation. Please support them by making a donation which if you are a UK Taxpayer will benefit from ‘Gift Aid’ by clicking here: [Sponsor The Trip]

Many people are unaware of the incredible difference that the Foundation makes to the welfare of the community. Among the numerous causes helped by the Foundation are: Grants which support Age-related degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Childhood diseases such as cystic fibrosis, Chronic illnesses including cancer and heart disease, Air Ambulances, Hospices, Disaster Relief, Lifelites, Health & Disability, Education & Employability, Mentoring and befriending schemes, Social activities encouraging inclusion, Education and training programmes for ex-service personnel and many other good causes.
