Presentation of North Wales Widows Sons Chapter Certificate

The last meeting of the North Wales Widows Sons Chapter was held at Farfield Hall on Tuesday, 17 February. Seen receiving their certificates and badges of membership are members of the Chapter, David Thomas (left), Leighton Harper (middle) and Paul Middlehurst (right). Presenting the certificate’s and badges is Alan Sullivan, the Chapters President.

The Chapter is now twenty strong and there are a few more wishing to join. There is a number of ride outs planned for the coming months starting with the one on Saint David’s day on Sunday 1 March when all those participating will be wearing the traditional leeks. There are six ride outs planned so far. The second one will be on Saturday 28 March which will be in aid of Hope House, Wrexham Maelor Hospital and the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital.

The main ride out will be the 3-day event starting on May 15th in support of Cambria MCC and we will be raising funds for Blind Veterans UK, formerly St Dunstan’s.
