61-Yrs Certificate Presented to W Bro. Edwin Joseph Morris of Wepre Lodge

The Master of Wepre Lodge back in 1969, W.Bro. Edwin Joseph Morris has been unable to attend the Lodge for some time now due to his ill health. Still very bright and sprightly in himself, W.Bro. Edwin is still very fond of reminiscing about old times and colleagues.

Unable to attend Lodge for the presentation of his Certificate to mark his 61 years in Freemasonry, and not desiring anyone to make a big fuss over it, he requested it be presented to him at his home in Buckley. The current Worshipful Master, Bro. David Kinnair being unavailable, due to being away on a course, it fell to the Lodge Secretary, W.Bro. David C. Edwards, the Lodge Almoner, W.Bro. David C. Thomas and the Senior Warden and Master Elect, W.Bro. David A. Fink to make the presentation.

On Friday, 9 September the Certificate was duly presented by the Brethren named above, to W.Bro. Edwin who admired it and accepted it with pleasure as can be seen in the accompanying photograph.
